2026 fundraising year
for Rwanda in June 2027
Up to 30 players prepare throughout 2026 for our June 2027 international trip to Rwanda. Every month offers three equal ways to build a larger share of the money we raise. Nobody can simply buy a roster spot.
The 36-share system
Each completed monthly commitment earns one share. Complete all three actions for all 12 months and finish with 36 out of 36.

Show up and do your part at that month's fundraiser. Participation earns one share, because the work matters as much as the dollars.
Personally contribute fundraising money or recruit at least one outside donor that month. Either route earns the third monthly share.

Events may be adjusted as opportunities change. Participation and contribution credit will still be tracked monthly.
Live effort board
Effort is calculated from shares earned out of the 36 available. The fraction beside each percentage makes the work behind the number visible.
December Awards Ceremony
At our December Awards Ceremony, families will see the Rwanda teams, the money raised, and their remaining cost before making a final commitment.
We total the international trip costs for the confirmed players, teams, coaches, and approved travel needs.
Eligible fundraising revenue is divided by all earned shares. Each player receives credit based on their personal share total.
Each family sees its remaining balance and decides whether to commit. Grade level, final teammates, cost, and changing plans can all factor into the choice.
If anyone backs out, we remove that player, return every $100 monthly payment they made, and calculate a new, larger share for everyone remaining.
Program rules
Travel follows the fundraising year. The program runs January through December for the international trip planned for the following June.
There are no purchasable roster spots.Players build their standing through monthly commitment, fundraiser work, and direct or recruited donations.
Payment alone does not equal full effort. The $100 monthly payment earns one of three possible shares for that month. A player must also work and create a donation to earn all three.
Your family's monthly payments are protected. If a family declines its December offer, or if the trip cannot proceed, every $100 monthly payment that family made is refunded. Fundraiser proceeds, outside donations, and other program-raised funds remain with the Globe Squad for current or future international travel.
Final travel credit depends on earned shares.More completed monthly actions create a larger portion of eligible fundraising revenue. Joining late does not create retroactive shares.
The trip requires a fully committed group. After each withdrawal and recalculation, every remaining family is asked again. If a viable Rwanda group cannot reach full commitment, the trip does not proceed. Monthly family payments are refunded, while all other funds stay with the program and strengthen the next international opportunity.
Finalization happens at the December Awards Ceremony.Once every remaining family accepts, we announce the teams and immediately purchase flights and hotels. The next fundraising year then begins in January 2027 for the June 2028 trip, 18 months later.
Fundraising is administered through our registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, 50 All Stars. EIN #46-3770431. Year-end receipts will be provided for eligible contributions. Families should consult a tax professional regarding deductibility.
