Focus: Offensive Rebounds

Offensive rebounds are the most important part of basketball outside of scoring itself. Give one up, and you hand over a full possession—no different than a turnover. But secure one, and you've done something more valuable than a steal, block, or charge. You've extended life. You've given your team another chance to score without giving the other team a chance to breathe.

Every team should send one or two players back on every shot to guard against the break. But the rest? They should crash the boards like the game depends on it—because it often does.
