PnR: Flip-Flop
The "Flip-Flop" tactic addresses situations where defenders ice the screen or routinely show. "Icing" means the defender directs the dribbler away from the screen, while in a "routine show," the screen defender doubles without strategy. The solution involves the screener faking a normal screen, then swiftly moving to screen on the opposite side. This creates an advantage as the ball handler exploits the new screen direction.PREV | NEXT |
