PnR: Layup to Create
In the "Layup to Create" strategy, during a pick & roll, when the defense doesn't show and lacks help side defenders, the ball handler drives into the key. This forces the defense to make a choice: allow the ball handler to score a layup or commit to stopping them, leaving an open teammate for a pass at the last moment.
